ENDA 2003

The right to work to support oneself and family seems like a basic human right. Yet, in many states it is still legal to fire someone because they are gay or lesbian. In fact, only 14 states offer any kind of protection for gay, lesbian and bisexual employees. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), which would offer federal protection to lesbian and gay workers has been introduced this week in the Senate.
