The college town of New Paltz, NY married gay couples today. Mayor Jason West said, "Laws governing marriage in New York state are gender neutral, and the constitution of New York requires equal protection under those laws."
And in San Francisco, a the Californa Supreme Court refused to stop gay marriages from continuing. More than 3,400 same-sex marriages have been performed in San Francisco since February 12th, 2004.
