Same Sex Marriages Today in Portland, Oregon!

Wednesday March 3, 2004
Today, I was never prouder to be an Oregonian. Portland joined in the battle for same sex marriage today by granting marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples. I spent the day with my friends Carla and Miriam who had their second wedding ceremony today. Two years ago they held their own ceremony with family and friends. Today, they made it legal!
