Advice for Lesbian Actor Heading to Hollywood

I often get mail from people asking for advice. Most often it involves relationship or family issues. I love these questions because usually I have something meaningful to say. Recently I got a letter from a young woman on her way to Hollywood to become a big star. She wanted to know, did I think she should go in the closet, or stay out and proud. Well, I'm not from Hollywood and am not a famous actor, but I gave her some advice anyway. But when the opportunity came up to ask someone who is a famous lesbian celebrity AND who has seen both sides of the closet door, I thought I'd ask her advice.
