As I write this, Martina Navratilova, one of the greatest tennis players of all time is about to take court at Wimbledon. At age 47, she is the oldest player on the circuit. She defeated a woman 23 years younger than her to make it to this second round at Wimbledon. Martina was part of one of the world's greatest sport's rivalries, when she and Chris Evert met 80 times, swapping victories. Like all great rivalries, Martina and Chris's was good for the sport of women's tennis, drawing many new fans to the sport.
