I read the story in the paper a few days ago. A lesbian had murdered her female lover. Although I know that domestic violence exists in lesbian relationships, I was still saddened and shocked by the news. I blogged on this topic a month ago or so. It is heart breaking that people are in violent relationships. Lesbian relationships too. I think it surprises the public that women can be violent to the point of murdering their partner.
There is a shame I think more so than in straight relationships when it is same sex abuse.
I hope that there is more publicity and resources out there for women of LDV.
