I am not a huge fan of reality TV, but it does seem to be one place where gays and lesbians get a lot of TV air time. Last night I tuned into ABC's Wife Swap show. In that episode, a conservative Christian wife and a lesbian mom switched places.

I'm still scratching my head, trying to decide if the show was positive or negative for lesbian families. The Christian mom was very polite to the couple's faces, but made certain to tell the camera that she felt lesbians raising a daughter was wrong. At the end when the two couples meet, the Christian mom said she didn't feel comfortable with a lesbian in her house with her teenage daughter. The lesbian mom was rightfully offended, but so shocked and teary-eyed, I don't think she got her point off across too well. Learn about the lesbian family who participated.
