The Supreme Court: What Can You Do?

Last night President Bush named John G. Roberts as his nominee to the Supreme Court to replace Sandra Day O'Connor who retired this summer. Gay and lesbian rights activists see the Supreme Court as vital in our fight for equality. Issues like gay marriage, Don't Ask, Don't Tell and anti-gay state laws will all eventually be decided by the Supreme Court in the near future. President Bush, who has made his anti-gay bias clear, is likey to nominate two justices before his term is over. What can you do to help influence those choices? Here are some resources and actions gays and lesbians can take to help get fair minded judges elected to the Supreme Court.
