Gay Marriage Legal in South Africa

Add South Africa to the growing list of countries where gays and lesbians can marry. Not quite yet though. South Africa's highest court ruled that to deny gays and lesbians the right to marry violated the country's constitution's guarantee of equal rights. It gives the parliament one year to amend the country's laws to reflect the ruling. Expect gay and lesbian South African's to be able to marry some time in 2006.
