Is Jodie Foster a Lesbian?

Monday December 5, 2005
This week the cover of The National Enquirer asks, "Who's Gay and Who's Not?" Inside the magazine lists different celebrities like Courtney Love, Drew Barrymore and Laura Dern who have been followed by gay and lesbian rumors. Jodie Foster, of course, is one of the celebrities whose sexuality they question. The National Enquirer does not tell us if Jodie Foster is a lesbian or not. What do you think? Vote in the Lesbian Life Poll: Is Jodie Foster a lesbian?

(1) Carl whiteman says:

Half of female celebs are gay/bi as are most actors. Ed Furlong, Leif Garrett, Elton John, etc.
Its coming, changes, no way to stop it.

I’m a man and been a fan of Jodie since she gave her greatest first silver screen performance in “The Little Girl Who Lived Down the Lane”. I respect, understand, and can relate to her more than most can imagine. Although her sexual preferences is absolutely no one’s business but Jodie’s; as difficult as it is for most people to understand, she isn’t particularly interested in relations with either men or women (although, if she had to make a choice, yes, as most people suspect, it would be with the right woman). However she’s more celibate, than lesbian.

Anyone who replies to this question online probably doesn’t know the answer, as anyone close to Jodie Foster probably wouldn’t be writing in, but, as someone else said, “Who cares?” and “It’s none of anyone’s business!” Get a life, people!

who cares, if she is a lesbian, then be with it. Just remember that it is immoral and that all gay people will not be in the great heavan when it is all said and done, thankfully. so as far as earthly things go, let them do what pleases then because they are out to please themselves and not god. See you on the other side as long as you are not a homosexual.

Wow. Comments like the one from “kill” above give the rest of us straight folks a bad image. I love Jodie Foster’s work, and if she’s gay or straight is really none of our business. But frankly, if “heaven” is filled with a bunch of homophobes like “Kill”, then I want to go wherever the other folks are going. Spending eternity with a bunch of self righteous jerks sounds highly unappealing.

Wow “Kill” must be super religous, their name says it all. It drives me crazy that “God” needs to come into this whole sexuality thing. I am a mom of 2 with a wonderful husband, and thankfully my childen are neither biased or predjudice. By the way, we do go to church and the God I believe in doesn’t discriminate according to race, sexuality, religion. Just be a good person. Try to learn something “kill”.

Kill, It sounds like from your post that you wish to get into the gates of heaven, Let me just say that you souldn’t judge or you will be judgeed in the same manner in which you judge. How would you stand up to that kind of judgement ?. Also, nowhere in the new testament does Jesus preach on homosexuality. I quess he thought it wasn’t too important.

Honestly, it wouldn’t matter if she were gay, straight, bisexual, asexual, or pansexual…she’s still one of the best female actors we have today.

Of course she’s going the other way. She wasn’t kidding me. If you didn’t know she liked the ladies, then you probably have know idea that Burt Reynolds is working with a tupe. At the end of the day — I don’t give a damn

Jodie is a wonderful person and actress. Her personal life is really no one elses business. But for the record, this lesbian really hopes she’s a lesbian!!!!:)

I don’t know for sure, but I’ve spent a lot of time around gay people and there’s just something about the way she moves, walks and talks that screams “lesbian” to me. I’d like to think that she is, that makes her even more interesting!!! She’s beautiful

(16) Bob says:

Whoa! First we have the hateful and clearly disturbed Kill. Now we have Kathy who is not only emotionally disturbed but illiterate to boot. The nutcases are out in force here! The ironic thing is that while the preach their nonsense, they spew hatred. If there is a God and a heaven, they are too stupid and blind to realize that if anyone is not going to be accepted at the gates, it’s them. One wonders how people can even survive when they are so unhappy and bitter.
