Amelie Mauresmo to Play Wimbledon Final

Friday July 7, 2006
Finally Amelie Mauresmo's day on the grass has come. The lesbian tennis super sensation will be heading to the Wimbledon finals on Saturday against Justine Henin-Hardenne. It's a match that I'm sure both women are looking forward to. Back in January, Amelie Mauresmo won her first Grand Slam trophy by defeating Henin-Hardenne in Australia. But it was a bittersweet victory. Henin-Hardenne pulled out in the second set with an upset stomach. A victory for Mauresmo will remove all doubt about her ability as one of the top tennis players in the world. Let's hope both women are healthy for this rematch.
  • Tune in Saturday: Check local listings for time and station.
