Amelie Mauresmo Advances to U.S. Open Semi-Finals

I finally had a chance to see some U.S. Open tennis action yesterday. And I tuned it at just the right time. I got to see Amelie Mauresmo dominate over Dinara Safina in the quarterfinals. Amelie Mauresmo entered the U.S. Open in first place and if she goes on to win it all, she will join an elite group of women who have won three Grand Slam titles in a single season. Mauresmo will meet Maria Sharapova in the semi-finals. If she wins, she will play the winner of Justine Henin-Hardenne vs. Jelena Jankovic for a U.S. Open championship. Tune in Friday and Saturday for the semi and final games.
