Rosie O'Donnell Leaving "The View"

It's not about her controversial comments, it's about her contract. That's what Rosie O'Donnell says is the reason she's leaving "The View" after only one season. Out lesbian Rosie O'Donnell has caused quite a flap since she joined Barbara Walters on the daytime talk show by being vocal about her opinions on everything from Donald Trump to gays in the military.
According to CBS Rosie said, "We couldn't come to terms with my deal with ABC, so next year I'm not going to be on 'The View.' However, I will be coming back and guest hosting. I'm not going to do the everyday thing because they wanted me three years, I wanted one year."
Everyone seems to have an opinion about Rosie. What do you think?

I’m kinda relieved and hoping this will somewhat take her out of the spotlight. Her outrageous comments and petty fights with celebrities just furthers the religious rights already bad opinion of homosexuality. We don’t need a spokesperson like Rosie. And she is that, whether we like it or not, b/c she is an openly gay celebrity.
I don’t think her comments should be described as outrageous. If you look at Rosie and her past, thats just how she is…lol
Its not like The View didn’t know what they were getting, and on top of that its not the reason they fired her…
She is not your typical suburban mom, and she just needs her own show.
i am so happy that loudmouthed bitch is leaving. if the truth be know, it IS because people like me have bitched to ABC to have her removed. GOOD RIDDENCE!!!!!
Rosie should have her own show again…she’s the best…or better yet have her host “The Price is Right”
