Loving Annabelle: Lesbian Movie Review
Wednesday November 14, 2007
There seem to be two camps on the movie Loving Annabelle. Lesbians either love it or hate it. On the one side are those who say it is a beautiful and tragic story of forbidden love. Plus the actors are really sexy.
And then there are those who say it's nothing more than galmorized pedophilia. It doesn't matter if the actors are really hot.
What did Lesbian Life movie reviewer Mary Foulk think of Loving Annabelle. Read her review to find out.

Loving Annabelle’s mirrors my own high school experience so I watched the film with mixed emotions. Looking back to that time of my life now with the rose colored glasses removed, knowledge and life experience under my belt – the film is nothing more than glamorized pedophilia. Great story but boundaries were crossed and in real life the mind does get fucked.

This was one of the worst movies i have ever seen. I am a little tired of lesbian themed movies like this and Gray matters getting all this hype and when you see the film its a crappy film. I have seen two women kissing and making out enough on film at this point now I need more.
Loving Annabelle is one of the top lesbian movies I have seen. A lot of credit has to be given to Erin Kelly for her absolutely professional performance.
With every great movie there will always be people who are not enthused.
A great movie all round

Well basically they did their job very well on the movie and Yes the actors are actually beautiful.
I just have seen another called “I can’t think straight” directed by Shamim Sarif.
I liked the movie, Annabelle herself can’t be any younger than 17, so I don’t really see it as pedophilia. It isn’t as heartwarming as I had hoped, I was a little bummed the porcupine died (as there was no reason for It.) and felt like the character Kat needed to get her ass kicked. However I was cheering for the would- be couple the entire movie, however if you want a happy ending don’t watch it. As a matter of fact when the movie ended I walked away a little pissed off, however if you take a look at the alternate ending, I found myself much happier, to appease myself I tacked on the alternate ending in addition to the original ending and all of a sudden the movie still has some sadness to it but has the wonderful undertone of it being all worth it. Plus much of the cast is very cute and it has a short but hot girl and girl scene.
I saw Katherine Brooks talk after a screening and she said Annabelle was four days away from being 18, so I’m not sure how you can argue with that. Clearly, some 18 year olds are more mature than others and Annabelle is on the overly mature side. It does happen, people. I hate to say it, but when I think of a pedophile I think of someone molesting a 6 year old. You people miss the whole message of the movie. LOVE.
