The front runners in both the Democratic and Republican presidential races are starting to emerge. John McCain won heartily in Florida's Republican primary. Hillary Clinton won the Democratic primary in Florida, but she won't collect any delegates for that victory. The Democratic Party stripped Florida of its delegates because they moved the primary date up.

As the front runners emerge, those lagging behind are dropping out of the race. Dennis Kuchinich, who was the most gay-friendly of all the candidates, dropped out of the race last week. John Edwards announced his withdrawal today. Neither has endorsed another candidate.

For the GOP, it looks as if the most gay-friendly Republican candidate will soon be leaving the race. Rudy Giuliani is expected to announce he's dropping out of the race today after a third place finish in Florida.

The biggest primary date is just around the corner. Twenty-four states will hold primaries or caucuses on Tuesday, Feb. 5th, 2008. Do you know how you're voting yet? If you haven't made up your mind, be sure to check out where each candidate stands on gay and lesbian issues. Lesbian Life has analyzed each candidate's stance on important issues like gay marriage, civil unions, gays in the military and employment non-discrimination.
