Good News in Texas: Sex Toy Ban Overturned

If I lived in Texas, I think I would be looking into a business plan right now for opening a lesbian sex toy store. That's because a federal court just ruled that Texas' ban on sex toys violates the 14th amendment and right to privacy. Halleluiah! In its decision last week, the court cited Lawrence v. Texas, the Supreme Court's 2003 opinion that struck down bans on consensual sex between same-sex couples. It is not known yet whether the state of Texas will appeal.
