So, I knew we couldn’t trust Adele, but I really didn’t think she’d do something this sinister. She’s taken Jenny and Nikki’s sex tape and is blackmailing the production staff of Lez Girls. Somehow she ends up as director. How in the hell did that happen? I mean really…do they really trust that she won’t just release the tape after the movie is over? Everyone should have listened to Max, I hate to say I told you so, but…

Jodi and Bette

Drama-rama. This whole Jodi/Bette/Tina thing seems oh so real. I can see friends break-ups in their dynamic. Jodi shows up at the Planet and announces to Bette that they need to spend some time together. Jodi needs answers. Unfortunately, Bette isn’t able to give them to her. Not right away anyway. She strings Jodi along for most of the day, even making out with her, when we know her heart is with Tina. Jodi’s heart is breaking. Of course it is. Can you blame any of them? This is hard stuff. But why is Bette is giving Jodi mixed messages, saying she’s going to fight for their relationship? We all know she wants to be with Tina. Be a woman Bette and let Jodi go. Don’t’ drag this on. It will only hurt her more.

Lesbian Power Couples

Bette’s assistant informs her that W magazine has called and they want to do a feature on lesbian power couples, Jodi and Bette--power lesbian art couple. Jodi wants to do it. Bette says no. Jodi wants to go to therapy. Bette says no. Finally, she makes it clear to Jodi, she loves her, but is not in love with her any more. She wants to be with Tina. What can Jodi say to that, except I want to come to your house and get my things. It’s over.

Dawn Denbo and Her Lover Cindy

Remember back in Season 2 when Marina left and Kit was trying to buy the Planet? She borrowed money from Ivan. Or I guess Ivan bought 51% of the Planet. So now, Dawn and her lover Cindy have tracked Ivan Aycock down and bought out her percentage of the Planet. So now Dawn Denbo and her lover Cindy own half of the Planet. Those M-F bitches. And how about those L Word Writers, following through on a storyline from Season 2? I’m quite impressed. Do you think that had this in their pocket the whole time?

Lesbians and U-Hauls

Alice and Tasha are house hunting. But it isn’t going so well. Before they’ve even moved in, they’re fighting about money and how much they can afford. Maybe they should have sat down and worked out a budget before they set out. Anyway, Alice is sure she’s going to get that job at The Look TV show. But I’m not so sure. Alice hasn’t outed any big celebrities in a few weeks.

Jenny & Nikki

Treacherous and soulless people re trying to ruin Lez Girls. Jenny has been fired so Adele can direct. As she’s leaving the set, she wants people to come with her. No one goes except Shane. Not even Nikki. Even after Jenny begs. Nikki, we thought you really cared about Jenny. Tina is by her side, though. She thinks Jenny actually has some talent. I can’t believe I’m actually rooting for Jenny, but I do want her to get her movie back.

Kit and the Gun

Something I learned once in a screen writing class: You don’t introduce a gun unless it’s going to be used later on. Well, Kit bought that gun and practiced at the shooting range a few weeks ago. Now she’s got that thing loaded and is on her way to She Bar. She calls Bette and leaves a message. “I’m in trouble, I’m going to do something bad.” She sneaks into She Bar. Very Foxy Brown. Luckily Bette calls and asks her to pick up Angie before she does anything stupid. But then we’ve got a toddler in the same room with a gun. Yup, Kit walks away for a minute and Angelica is playing with that loaded thing. Luckily Kit comes in just in time, grabs the gun and throws it in the dumpster. But I can’t help but wonder if she goes and retrieves it after Tina and Bette come to claim Angie. She looks so lonely as they walk off.

Cute Butch Fashion

That’s Melanie Lynskey as fashion designer Clea on The Look. She shows off her hot “menswear inspired” fashion and Alice seems a bit taken. Her clothes are cool and all, but she does seem a bit mousy for Alice.

Bong hits with Shane

We always knew Shane was a stoner. She’s trading bong hits with Jenny as she commiserates about her situation. Nikki is dead to Jenny now. But if anyone needs to be killed it’s Adele.

Only one episode left. How will they tie things up? Will Helena resurface? Will Tina move back in with Bette? Will Max come out as a gay trans man? Will Alice get the job on The Look? Will the cute fashion designer dress her up and will she and Tasha have to cancel the U-haul? Will Tasha sign up as an independent contractor for Blackwater and return to Iraq? Will Kit use the gun? Will the Jenny/Nikki sex tapes re-emerge? Will Jenny get her movie back? Will Adele die? Tune in Sunday.
