Top Lesbian Wedding Songs

Picking a good lesbian wedding song is harder than it looks. It seems like our community’s best voices have more of a knack for being bitter and angry, or at least wistful and introspective, rather than sweet and sappy. You also want something that you can play in front of your parents without outing yourself as a freak. Here are a few that fit the bill.
Did you get married? What song did you play at your wedding? Add to comments below.

20 years ago, I chose “Soaring” by Cris Williamson. Can’t remember the lyrics anymore, but it made me feel like I could fly.
“By your side” Sade…..makes me cry every time
A Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin. Love the line, “I never loved a man, the way that I, I love you.”
We walked down the isle, with a friend singing “Fever.” It was Hot!
We are getting married after thirteen years together(Thanks California!)& are choosing an instrumental version of “I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face” from “My Fair Lady”
“Soaring” is good for any type of wedding!
We got married in Belfast in 2006. My other half secretly had herself recorded singing “from this moment on” by Shania Twain at a studio and then surprised me during our ceremony when it came to her turn to say her vows – the registrar hit the play button and the entire room got to listen to her rendition!
I am getting marry May 13. The song that i am going to have is The Weakness in me by Joan Armatrading. I love this song. It reminds me of my soon to be wife.
I’ll Take Care of You by the Dixie Chicks is perfect for a lesbian wedding
