I'll never forget the story I heard from a lesbian whose girlfriend shaved her head right before going to meet her Mormon parents for the first time. So that’s where my wife and I went wrong with my family! My wife shaved off her waist-length hair during our senior year in high school and, for the most part, has maintained that haircut since. Then again, they weren’t happy the year she decided to let her hair grow for our wedding, either. Hell, they never even liked my boyfriends!

Seriously, pretty decent advice. Some women have relatives who are bound and determined to be hateful, but not all.
