How to Find a Gay-Friendly Church

Wednesday December 24, 2008
Tomorrow is Christmas. This season often has gay and lesbian Christians in a dilemma. On the one hand, they want to celebrate their religion in the church of their choice, but on the other, they don't want to end up in a church that condemns them. Luckily, more and more Christian churches are welcoming to gays and lesbians. If the Christmas season has you longing for a place to worship here are some resources for gay-friendly churches.

    (1) me says:

Do not deceive yourselves. Read Romans 1:26-27; I Corinthians 6:9; I Timothy 1:10. Be gay, if that is your choice. But don’t delude yourselves into thinking that God is fine with it. Read the whole Bible yourself to find out the truth and don’t just listen to Pastor’s who say what you want to hear.

I agree with ‘me’. If you want to be truthful with yourself and others, then read Biblical scripture for yourself and with an open mind.

God loves all people, but hates all sin. Scripture is plain truth and does not need to be interpreted deeply. Read it plainly and know the context in which it speaks.

Remember that all people have sinned, and all people are called to repent of it. Only the God of Abraham can empower you (and me and everyone else) to be free of sin. For you, perhaps the sin is active homosexual behavior.

God loves you despite this bt God is a just God as well as a loving God. Now is the time for repentence for all of us. And God is there to show you the way and lift you out of sin.

open your eyes people; and re-read the text in the bible; better yet DO GO DEEPER and read the hebrew, aramic and latin you will be surprised at what you find,,,,but then again it should be no surprise…the truth is God loves homosexuals as well as heterosexuals….the truth is some of us are born differently….and as I recall the very reason that Jesus was put to the cross was because he would be the first one sit eat and drink with those of us born differently….sadly the majority of heterosexual Christianity would rather beat the bible over homosexual heads and point fingers and condemn to death and hell rather than degrade themselves to SEE who they are condemning….
