How the Grinch Stole Marriage

The passage of Prop 8 in California and Barack Obama's selection of an anti-gay preacher to give his invocation reminded me of this amazing poem by Mary Ann Horton. It starts out grim, but like the Dr. Seuss tale, the ending is happy. As our Christmas gift to you here is:

Every Gay down in Gayville liked Gay Marriage a lot......
But the Grinch, who lived just east of Gayville, did NOT!!
The Grinch hated happy Gays! The whole Marriage season!
Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
