Does Being a Tomboy Make You Gay?

I just want some answers. Right now, I'm totally confused about myself. When I was a kid I was more of like a tomboy, I liked playing boys stuff. I never really played dolls at all, you know, like what an ordinary girl would play. I loved playing basketball and riding a bike, a toy gun and some other stuff instead...Now, I have developed an interest in women...I mean like I want to have relationship with them, but still I'm interested in men too. Oh, gosh, I don't know what I am anymore!
Dear Tommy
Like you, I was a tomboy growing up. I had five older brothers and liked to tag along with them riding bikes, fishing, playing kickball and dodge ball. I don't know if there is a connection between being a tomboy and being a lesbian, but that certainly is the stereotype....keep reading.

I grew up being a tomboy also, when i was younger i liked both sexes but i was also confused by it. I denied it until my 50th birthday, even though i had feelings for females i only acted on it twice, but i really don’t think being a tomboy have anything to do with being gay. I have female friends that were tomboys while growing up and now they’re very feminine. I say go with what you feel is right for you and don’t worry about what society or anyone else say/feel about you.
It is confusing but don’t let it confuses you so much. It is okay to be attract to both sexes. I was a tomboy growing up too. I have no interests chatting with girls about their dolls as well as about their boyfriends. I knew I was different right from the beginning but I didn’t know what gay was before I became a teenager. I’m 40 now. In my 20’s I had dated men. I find attractive and clever but nothing was clicking. I clicked with women easy than I do with men. I just followed my instincts.
i was always a girlie girl growing up with the princess dresses and everything… my sister was always the tomboy… now that we’re older i’ve come out of the closet and im still a girly girl.. my sister is straight, she has a great boyfriend, and she’s still kind of a tom boy…
