March is Women's History Month and all month we'll feature lesbian and bisexual history makers.

Kate Brown was elected Secretary of State for Oregon and took office in January 2009. She is the highest ranking openly bisexual elected politician in the United States.

Kate Brown has sponsored several gay rights bills in her terms in the Oregon legislation, including Oregon's domestic partnership and civil rights ordinances.

That’s awesome!!

It’s amazing, in the area where I live most of the large organizations have same sex health insurance for their employees. But in my state homosexuals can’t get married.
