As you're reading this Hunter Valentine is probably playing somewhere. To celebrate the release of their new album, Lessons of the Night today, the band is playing 12 shows in 24 hours.
They started out on a radio show early this morning and will end up at The Cake Shop with stops at MTV and Washington Square Park, as well as some other places, along the way.
Kiyomi McCloskey, lead singer of the Hunter Valentine sat down with Lesbian Life last week to tell us all about her how her band came about, why she loves Alicia Keys, why her bandmates will never date each other and what other young out musicians need to do in order to succeed in the music business.
