They may have gotten older, but they are no less radical. Last week in Cleveland a group of old lesbians got together to continue to stir stuff up. At the OLOC (Old Lesbians Organizing for Change) Gathering in Cleveland July 14-18, Sharpening the Radical Edge was more than a slogan. It was an affirmation and a call to action. Lesbian Life has a report from an OLOC conference attendee.

Tomorrow morning and the rest of the day will be a sad one. Two wonderful women in our gay community were killed a couple of weeks ago, their names were Ina and Stella. They were visiting family at a reunion. Stella had a heart attack at the wheel and caring Stella dies when she grabbed the wheel to keep the car from hitting pedestrians. Both of them will be missed, they could always be counted on to help and give support in most anything. I knew both of them personall, it was an honor to know them. I’m only going to support the family, funerals are not my thing, I’m not going to have one. Ina and Stella can never be replaced.
