I don’t have kids yet, but I think I’d either like for them to call us “Mama [name]“, or, because my partner is Japanese, maybe I will be mom and she will be haha or okaasan. :)

Our kids call their biological mother “mommy” and me “mama”. As they are getting older you can tell by the tone of their voice who they are talking to if they say Mom.

I am the birth parent of a 26, 25, 22 year old. I get called the following by Emily, marmeer, by Peter, Alice, by Alexander, Darling. They call Liz mom # 2, mom, Tilly, or Liz. Now we are also grandparents of a 3 year old girl. I am GiGi and Liz is MiMi. If we both get Hey Mom we can tell by the tone who wants whom.

Hope this helps.

Our kids call their biological mom “Mommy” and Me “Mama”. As they get older they have started to shorten it to Mom. We can usually tell by the tone of their voice which one of us they are talking to. We love it!

I dont have kids yet. I think it is better to refer to the moms as, ”Mom Liz” and ”Mom Leah”, if their moms names are Liz and Leah.
