I recently spoke with Silke Reuthlinger who founded the Denver lesbian organization HipChicksOut. Like a lot of lesbians, Silke loves lesbian bars, but sometimes wanted to hang out with other lesbians in different places. She decided to start a lesbian social organization and meet at different places around Denver. Now, HipChicksOut has more than 3,000 email subscribers and 350-450 women show up for some of their mingle events. Silke shared with us some of the reasons Denver is a great city for lesbians.
