There are some things I hope to never hear again. I hope no one ever leans out a car window and yells, "Dyke!" at me again. I hope to never be called "Sir" again and I really hope to never hear any of these ten things again.

I used to be freaked by some of the comments given to me, Kathy; but nowadays, they don’t get to me any more. I think it all changed when I realised two things: firstly, that I cannot control the opinions of other people, so trying to do so is just a waste of energy……but more importantly, I realized that I don’t have go through life worrying about the opinions of people who are never going to be important to me.
