Stop the Federal Marriage Amendment
Monday May 22, 2006
It's back. The anti-gay Federal Marriage Amendment failed to pass last year. S. Constitution. Civil rights activists agree that the Federal Marriage Amendment makes no sense.
Coretta Scott King said, "A constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages is a form of gay bashing and it would do nothing at all to protect traditional marriages." — March 24, 2004, USA Today.
The Federal Marriage Amendment comes up for vote again on June 5th. Will you do everything you can to protect the rights of gays and lesbians?
