Guide Review - Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides

"I was born twice: first, as a baby girl, on a remarkably smogless Detroit day of January 1960; and then again, as a teenage boy, in an emergency room near Petoskey, Michigan, in August of l974." Middlesex is the story of an intersex coming out, yet so much more. Greek mythology, sister/brother love, Detroit riots, white flight. It's all in here! One of the best books I've ever read.
