Gay/Straight Alliances

The Case Against GSAs

By , About.com Guide

Case Against:

Community members, parents, students and school administration who oppose gay rights believe that allowing Gay/Straight Alliances in school is wrong.

Some people argue that having a Gay/Straight Alliance in the school causes unnecessary controversy that takes away from the purpose of school, which is to learn.

Groups have argued that Gay/Straight Alliances promote sexuality and encourage students to have sex.
