Guide Review - Keeping You a Secret

When the new girl, an out lesbian, comes to her school, Holland is intriguied. She finds herself attracted to CeCe, but none of her friends understand, especially her boyfriend.

After Holland falls for CeCe, she gets outed to the entire school and her mother kicks her out of the house. We're supposed to believe that her love for CeCe makes it all worth it, but it sure doesnt' feel that way.

Holland's mom has high hopes and expectations for Holland and when she comes out, all that changes. But Mom had her own struggles with her family and you would think she would come around in the end. She does not.

If any young lesbian read this book and was thinking of coming out of the closet, this book could scare them into staying in.
