Question: Where Can I Get a Civil Union or Domestic Partnership?
Answer: Vermont, New Jersey, Connecticut and New Hampshire (in 2008) offer civil unions. California, Maine, and Washington have domestic partnerships. Oregon will begin offering domestic partnerships in 2008.
Massachusetts is the only state in the U.S. to offer marriage for gay and lesbian couples. Here is a list of all the places in the world gays and lesbians can marry and have civil unions.
