Same City, Different Sex:

Cynthia Nixon played Miranda on HBO's hit series, Sex and the City.

Emmy Winner:

Cynthia Nixon won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Miranda, lawyer and single mom in Sex and the City.

Lady Love in Her Life:

Nixon and her long-time partner, Danny Mozes, the father of their two children, split up in June 2003. She met her new love Christine Marinoni, an educator in New York City in January 2004 at a charity benefit.

Is she a Lesbian?:

Cynthia Nixon has not said if she is a lesbian or bisexual, but she did say to the New York Daily News, "My private life is private. But at the same time, I have nothing to hide. So what I will say is that I am very happy."

Life imitates Art:

Cynthia is due to play Eleanor Roosevelt, also rumored to have had a lesbian relationship, in the HBO movie Warm Springs.
