Carmen and Shane Hook Up Again

It appears that Shane did move in with Jenny because Jenny runs into Carmen at the fridge in the middle of the night. Shane wants to go out, but Carmen convinces Shane to stay with a fun game called “Too Hot.” But then she spoils it by asking too many questions about Shane’s life. Shane can’t handle it. She goes out after all.

The Wedding Planner

Dana shows up for an intimate lunch with Tonya and learns she’s planning a corporate sponsored lesbian wedding. All the major players are there: The Advocate, Absolute Vodka, Wilson, Subaru. Oops, Dana thought she was just meeting Tonya for lunch. And she just thought she was marrying Tonya, not having a celebrity lesbian wedding. To make matters worse, she learns Tonya is taking a manager’s fee. Dana starts to act like she’s going to stand up for herself. “Are you my fiancé Tonya or are you my manager?” But she’s not quite that strong. She immediately goes to Alice. Alice always gets the best lines. “Dana you’re marrying an endorsement slut.” Even through her disgust, Alice is impressed with the number of endorsements Tonya has lined up. But she does let Dana know she thinks Tonya is brainwashing her.

Bette Cracks further

Bette shows up to a party at Shane’s. Bette & Alice get snitty. Tonya invents a fun game. Everyone has to answer the question,” If you saw yourself at a bar, would you ask yourself out?” I think Shane liked the fun game “Too Hot” a lot better. Bette is really starting to crack. She says if she saw herself at a bar, she would turn and run the other way. Alice and Shane have to help her home, she’s bawling and saying she’s sorry. I think Bette is really starting to regret the affair with Candace.

Betty Rules

The Planet reopens and it appears to be a great success. Carmen is spinning the tunes and the girls are all dancing. But what the hell is Jenny wearing? Just when we thought she was getting the message… Singers of the new L Word theme song, Betty show up to play instead of Pink. The crowd doesn’t seem to mind. Oh, and Carmen is cute, cute, cute in her yellow tank top and boyish hat. So cute Jenny asks her out. And the lead singer of Betty gets all friendly with her microphone in Shane’s pants.

Tina is Pregnant!

Finally Tina tells Alice she is pregnant. Alice just thought she was getting fat. Yeah, right.

Tina, Don’t do it!!

Tina goes to Bette’s to get some things and can’t help herself from making Bette’s bed. She also can’t help herself from reading an email from Candace on Bette’s laptop. Uh, oh. Not good.

Bette Cracks all the Way

Kit joins Betty on stage and sings “Some kind of Wonderful.” The song reminds Bette of Tina and how wonderful she is, so she leaves. When she gets home she discovers that Tina has been there and has read her email. Despondent, Bette pulls a Sylvia Plath, wading into the pool fully clothed. Is she trying to kill herself? Can you really kill yourself that way? Stay tuned for next week.
