The wedding was planned for nearly a year later, August 23rd 2008. We organized the whole thing together, including the writing of the ceremony. Neither of us is very religious or spiritual so we wanted something simple and to the point, but with much sincerity. We chose to use the four seasons as a metaphor for the cycle of love and life.

Going along with the proposal, the reception was puzzle themed. We hand made puzzles on each table that formed a different quote about marriage. We had a presentation of photos of us growing up that formed puzzles. Each table at the reception was named for a location that meant something to us. All in all, we had about 60 guests, all of whom were supportive and happy to be there for us. The day was absolutely perfect, and we were in awe at the love and support that we felt from our friends and family. Tracey sang "Marry Me" by Amanda Marshall with her guitar that made my heart melt. We danced to a little known song by a local singer, Julie Crochetiere, called Footsteps that took a lot of time to choose, but was perfect for us. The day was the best day in each of our lives and we always say that we'll get married again - next weekend!
