Lesbian Contest Winners - Laura & Kelli's Wedding Story

We got married center stage at the Toronto Convention Center During Pride Week in Toronto. The dress, tuxedo, flowers, rings, cake, everything was donated to us by the vendors! We also we chosen to be on a Canadian show, called "I Now Pronounce You," so camera crews followed us through the whole ordeal, from picking rings and dresses, to a final interview at the Pride Parade. We were also the first lesbian couple featured in the nuptials section of the National Post, a Canadian newspaper, and some of the other local papers during Pride Week. The people in Toronto were so wonderful, everyone was genuinely happy for us.
