How did you come out to your parents?
I didn't come out.
What did you say?
My Mom is homophobic, and my Dad accepted anything from me, but I can't tell him this. He's a homophobe as well. But, I'm doing what I can. I told my closest friends. One of them supports me completely, she is also bi. But, we hate staying in the closet like this. I consider her my sister, but we know if we tell our parents we can't spend the night at the other's house. I'm 13, and she's 14. But, I plan to tell my Mom when she comes home. But I told my friend like this. "Allison, I need to talk to you." "Yeah?" "You remember that one time I called and hung up after I said I wanted to tell you something?" She nodded. "I'm bi" I cried after that, and I have no idea why. I felt so much better after telling her, then she patted my back. "Don't feel bad Michelle, I'm bi to." I stopped crying and hugged her. We were so glad we got that off our chests. "I promise I won't like you like that." "I promise to." Then we laughed, just like old times. Only, we were happier. We finally told someone.
Advice
- Well, I don't have much advice, just be happy and tell those who mean the most to you. Might make your life simplier. ^^ Good luck!!
