How did you come out to your parents?
I only came out two years ago at the age of 40. I was married for 14 years and had two kids. I told my mom just 18 months before she died I have no relationship with my father. My mom just asked what took me so long to realize it and that she knew years before.
What did you say?
I said "Mom i think I'm a lesbian and I'm in love with a straight woman!" I have since met and fallen in love with a terrific woman who makes me happier than Ive ever been. We live together and are raising our three beautiful kids together.
Advice
- Just do it they will either accept it or they will be upset but they are still your parents. You cant change who you are and life is too unpredictable to live it for someone else.
