How did you come out to your parents?

She forced me to date her, I was homophobic. I was afraid, she made me comfortable. She told everyone, I was in the closet. My dad asked me if I wanted to be a boy, I told him "I don't know". I do know, I'm meant to be a boy, but I couldn't date a straight-girl.. I'm gay.. and dad's o.k. with it.. too comfortable, is turned-on by it.. Mom's trying to accept it, but I can see in her eyes she's uncomfortable when I hold my gf's hand. They'll be fine, but how will I give my parents what they want? A grandchild, a son-in-law, and a daughter who is NORMAL. I didn't ask to be this way, I was born this way I told them.

What did you say?

Are you like this because your sister is a lesbian? I said "No, I am me.. not my sister.. I like woman, I want to like men, but I'm too lost and confused when I'm with one.. I don't enjoy being with a man. Men are friends, when I try to date one, I see them like a brother, and doing things with them feels wrong... to me. I'm sure if the lord is forgiving and accepting as his rep. He'd accept and respect my choice. Because I don't want to lie to myself and say I like men, just for others. Wasn't it you who told me to do what I felt comfortable with? This is my lifestyle because this is who I am, I didn't choose this lifestyle, this lifestyle chose me."
