How did you come out to your parents?
My mom confronted me mothers day weekend 09 of my "inappropriate relationship" with my childhood best friend. I have told my aunt, yet to tell everyone else in the family.
My girl's family all knows and started to be fine with it...until her mom saw us in public and she wasn't prepared for it. She's not talking to us and I'm not allowed to mention my girl's name in my mom's house...
What did you say?
I admitted it and told her that I've always liked girls and it wont change. (She feels it's a phase... If I go to church it'll go away.) She doesn't realize I'm attending church on Sundays... God loves me still. And just because I love a girl, doesn't mean I don't love God anymore either.
Advice
- Still working on it. This is the year I've come out to myself and I'm working on coming out to others.
