Where I met my partner?

It was an online thing, we met off this forum for the LGBT community and she just randomly messaged me. It was nothing intentional just saying "hey how are you?" and from there we were texting, on the phone and MSN for about a month. She lived a bus ride away from me so I went and met her in this little market town at the bus stop.

How we fell in love

I got off the bus and she wasn't there so I got worried (and seeing as an hour previous I dropped my phone down the toilet...) I couldn't contact her so I was praying that she would still show up. This was my first time even meeting a girl in that way seeing as it was usually guys I would meet in this way so I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect. And then she walked round the corner and WOW, she was so different to pictures and webcam! she looked even more beautiful in real life! long story short we met up for a few weeks (this was December 2008) and then decided it wasn't going to work so called it quits and remained friends. For the next 5 months we were talking constantly, on the phone, texting, webcam, MSN and just got to know each other more and became friends. The problem was when we first met up we hardly knew nothing about each other so it just didn't work and I was very immature. Then May of 2009 we met up for the 2nd time since we broke up in January (we met up in April and we were both too scared to say anything, but it both ignited a spark inside us from that point) and in May when we met up I knew this was the one, this was it. I had a free house that day so she came round and we talked for hours and then we kissed and it was magical. 15 months later and we are as happy as ever, she's even moved in with me now and are still as much in love as ever all because of one forum message.

  • commuinication is KEY!
  • start off as friends first, even if it's only for a short while. Trust me it pays off in the end.
