Where I met my partner?
Me -->My partner and I were set up on a blind date by mutual friends.
Neither one of us had expectations of falling for each other and living the dream. In fact we both were reluctant to even meet in the first place.
So, the night we met, we were not apart for the next 3 days!
My partner-->Well like she said mutual friends set us up on a blind date. I was very apprehensive...But decided why not, if nothing else I will meet a new lesbian friend to hang out with. And again like she said our first date lasted for several days as we were not able to pry ourselves away from one another.
How we fell in love
my take-->the minute I walked into her house I knew we were kindred spirits if nothing else...we KEEP on falling in love with each day.
I knew she was the one because of our similar outlook on life. We don't agree on things that are not that important, yet our values and standards to live by are the same. We balance each other, which I absolutely LOVE. She likes things clean and I'm a messy marvin. She's on time and gets it done, but I'm chronically late and I procrastinate a lot. Realistic & down-to-earth she IS, and glass-half-full, flighty optimist type of gal is me..... but it works, ya know?
Her take-->Well...In those several days that we spent together on that first date. We talked about everything. And that remains to be one of my very most things that I LOVE about her and about us. Also I am crazy about the way that she looks at and loves everyday of this life. She has taught me to slow down and see the beauty in EVERYTHING especially the little things that I use to blow right past and never take a second look at. I guess I could go on and on. And I tend to do so. That's when she tells me that I am being corny. But corny or not I am wildly in love with everything about her. And looking forward to all the rest of the days of my life with her by my side.
