Where I met my partner?
We met at a AA meeting. I was out and in a relationship, she was single with 3 little kids and not out.
How we fell in love
We became friends first, something that I had never done before. You know, sex first then see what happens.The three of us, my partner at that time,myself and her hung out, went to AA meetings and did fun things that newly sober people do. After a few months I began to have some strong feelings for her but was afraid to act on them because of the situation I was in. The two of us sat down and talked and realized we both felt the same way. That was almost 18 yrs ago and I love her with all my heart.
Advice
- Don't look to hard-it will just happen when you least expect it.Be friends first and everything else will just fall into place. And remember that life has its ups and downs even when you're with the love of your life but don't give up. Say you're sorry even if you don't think its your fault and you can never say 'I love you' too much.
