Where I met my partner?
We met at a bar that mutual friends had dragged us to, unknowingly. I was in a relationship that was going nowhere. Looking back, the funny thing is that it was my girlfriend who convinced me to go out that night with friends. Ironic, isn't it?!
How we fell in love
She was there for me when my relationship ended. She was there when my ex and her best friend ganged up on me with threats. We remained friends at first but just knew that there was something between us.
On the night we met, my now-girlfriend's friend tried to "steal" me away from her. My gf and I ended the night with a handshake.
She sent me a Facebook message a few days later with a request from her friend to call. The message was intentionally delayed a few hours.
We battled our attraction for each other for weeks until finally, I asked her to come hang out at my apartment for the night. She brought her dog and all three of us fell in love, haha.
