A History of Lesbian Sexuality

Lesbians who like to read or watch lesbian pornography have one woman to thank: Nan Kinney. Nan Kinney and her partner published the first lesbian porn publication by and for lesbians called On Our Backs beginning in 1984. At that time, in the early 80s, much of the lesbian community was anti-porn and in many ways, anti-sexuality. Nan's goal was to celebrate female sexuality and make lesbian porn, not for straight male viewers, but for other lesbians. And for more than 23 years she has done that.
