Vicky Galindo is featured in an article in The Advocate as one of the out lesbian, gay and bisexual athletes competing in the Beijing Olympics. She said she has had serious relationships with both men and women. When she came out to the team, she said they were unconditionally supportive.
Not only that, Galindo's decision to come out helped teammate Lauren Lappin come out too.
