How did you come out to your parents?

I never told my mother, she told me. Ever since I was 14 years old she told me that I was gay. Finally, when I was 21 years old, after I had slept with numerous females, I became secure with myself. I was walking down the street with some older lesbians. An attractive female walked by and one of the women asked her, "How are you doing?" The woman replied, "I'm fine." Then the woman, with whom I was walking, responded, "I know that, but how are you doing?" I was so embarrassed because I had never experienced a female speak to another female like that. I decided, right then and there, that I would become more secure

What did you say?

I started taking my girlfriends around all of the time. I kind of threw it in her face that way she knew my heart. However, I was never disrespectful to her with my lifestyle. Although she did not like it and constantly made remarks about it, I stood firm with my heart.

Advice

  • Always stay true to yourself that way, people will be more true to you. My mother and I have an awesome relationship because I am honest with myself.
